Additional Information:
- Not for type 1 diabetes or treatment of DKA, and not a substitute for insulin.

- Temporary GI symptoms (nausea/vomiting/diarrhoea) can occur—keep well hydrated.
- Risk of hypoglycaemia may increase with sulfonylureas/insulin.
- Delays gastric emptying; oral contraceptives may require additional protection temporarily.
- Not indicated for <18 years.

- Inject subcutaneously once weekly in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm, rotating the injection site each week.
- Missed dose: Take it within 96 hours of the scheduled time; if more than 96 hours have passed, skip the missed dose and take the next one at your usual time.
- You may change the injection day provided there are ≥72 hours between two doses.
- Do not mix with insulin in the same injection; they may be given in the same area but not at the same site.
- Disposal: Discard used pens in an approved sharps container.
