Mounjaro 12.5mg/dose Once-weekly, subcutaneous pen used with diet and exercise to help control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Improves glycaemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes alongside diet and physical activity.
Supports lowering fasting and post-meal glucose by modulating glucagon and post-prandial response.

Single-dose, ready-to-use pen (no reconstitution).
Economical pack commonly supplied as 4 weekly doses (4 injections).
12.5 mg is an intermediate step between 10 mg and the max 15 mg to balance tolerability and efficacy.
Pen design enables consistent injection with simple preparation steps.

Not for type 1 diabetes.
Stop and see a doctor if you develop persistent, severe abdominal pain (possible pancreatitis).
May cause temporary nausea/vomiting/diarrhoea—maintain good hydration.
Delays gastric emptying; oral contraceptives may need additional protection temporarily.
Not for under 18 years.

Storage method:

Store refrigerated 2–8 °C; may be kept up to 21 days ≤30 °C, protected from light.

Italy

Inject once weekly subcutaneously on the same day each week.
Missed dose: Take it within 4 days (96 hours) of the scheduled time; if more than 96 hours have passed, skip the missed dose and take the next one at your usual time.
You may change the dosing day provided there are ≥72 hours between two doses.
Mounjaro and insulin may be injected in the same general area, but not at the same site and must not be mixed in the same injection.
Disposal: Place used pens in an approved sharps container.
