Mounjaro QuickPen 10 mg/dose Used with diet and exercise to improve glycaemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Helps reduce fasting and post-meal blood glucose as part of a comprehensive plan.
May decrease appetite and improve post-prandial hormonal response.
Suitable as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic medicines per physician guidance.

One weekly dose on a fixed day, with or without food.
Single-dose, ready-to-use pen—no mixing; designed for easy, consistent injections.

Not indicated for type 1 diabetes and not a substitute for insulin.
Pancreatitis warning: stop and seek medical advice if you develop severe, persistent abdominal pain.
Temporary GI effects (nausea/vomiting/diarrhoea) may occur—maintain hydration.
Hypoglycaemia risk increases with sulfonylureas/insulin—dose adjustments may be needed.
Delays gastric emptying; oral contraceptives may need additional protection temporarily.
Not for <18 years.

Storage method:

Store refrigerated at 2–8 °C, protected from light; may be kept ≤30 °C for up to 21 days.

Italy

Inject subcutaneously once weekly in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm, rotating injection sites.
Missed dose: Take it within 96 hours of the scheduled time; if more than 96 hours have passed, skip the missed dose and take the next one at your usual time.
You may change the dosing day provided there are ≥72 hours between two injections.
Do not mix with insulin in the same injection; they may be given in the same general area but not at the same site.
Disposal: Discard used pens in an approved sharps container.
