Micardis plus 40/12.5
Micardis Plus is a complex drug containing a combination of blood pressure relievers that work with a mechanism to prevent narrowing of blood vessels and thus reduce blood pressure, also works with diuretics to contain hydrochlorothiazid which prevents the absorption of sodium and water, which helps the body to get rid of excess salts and excess water and thus decrease blood pressure, also used to reduce angina and strokes.
Contraindications of Micardis plus 40/12.5:
- Pregnancy, lactation, or during the planning period for pregnancy, diabetics, and those with kidney.
- Hypersensitivity to any of the medications.
- Use of the drug Alexerin.
Pharmaceutical interferences:
- Alexis.
- Ielagulex.
- NSAIDs such as aspirin and ibuprofen.
- Diuretics such as chlorothiazide.
- Digoxin.
