If you are using other eye medications or have been instructed to wait between different types of eye drops, wait for at least 5-10 minutes before instilling another medication.

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the eye drops.
Twist off the cap of a single-use vial. Be careful not to squeeze the vial while removing the cap to prevent spillage.
Tilt your head back and look upward.
With your index finger, gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
Turn the vial upside down and squeeze it to instill one or two drops into the pocket formed by the lower eyelid. Be careful not to touch your eye or eyelashes with the tip of the vial.
Release your lower eyelid and close your eye gently. Do not blink immediately after instilling the drops to allow the solution to spread evenly across the eye surface.
After using the eye drops, dispose of the vial. Do not reuse the vial to prevent contamination.
