- it contains 3 active substances which are amlodipine, valsartan, and hydrochlorothiazide

How to use Exforge HCT blood pressure medication
- The usual dose of amlodipine, valsartan is one tablet per day
- It is best to take your medicine at the same time each day
- You can take the medicine with or without food
- Do not take this medicine with grapefruit or grapefruit juice
- Do not take Exforge HCT to treat high blood pressure if you are more than 3 months pregnant, have liver disease, or if the level of calcium in your blood is too high
